Technology Purchase Request (TPR)

We are currently experiencing a high volume of orders. Delivery of your technology may be delayed and delivery/pickup times may change without notice. The Technology Purchase Request form is where faculty and staff can order technology using SMC funds, view recent orders, and learn more about the ordering process.


Common technology such as laptops, desktop computers, monitors, printers, adapters, and more can be ordered.

Make sure you have the following information:

Before making a purchase, you will be asked to complete the following required** information.

  • A valid GL Code
  • An approval from your department heads
  • Your approver's contact information

It is the requestors responsibility to make sure the requestors GL code is valid and has all of the required approvals before submitting a request.

*All listed prices are estimates and are subject to change; ITS will contact you or your approver with the final calculated costs before charging your department.

  • College owned devices are those provided by or paid for by Saint Mary's College of California.
  • Standard technology purchased through the college is configured for compatibility, technical support, and security.
  • Non-standard technology, while purchased through the college, is not guaranteed to be supported by IT.
